Access Your Board

From the dashboard, select the board that you want to customize.

Customize Column Width

Hover over the column header you wish to adjust.

Hover over the column header you wish to adjust: Move your cursor over the header of the column that you'd like to change. The header is the topmost part of the column, which usually includes the title or description of what information the column holds.

Click and hold the edge of the column header

Click and hold the edge of the column header: Place your cursor on the vertical edge of the column header. You will notice that the cursor changes to a resize icon (it typically looks like a line with two arrows). Once you see this, click your mouse button and keep it pressed.

Drag to adjust the width of the column to your liking.

Drag to adjust the width of the column to your liking: While still holding the mouse button, move your cursor either left or right to resize the column. Moving the cursor to the left will decrease the width of the column, while moving it to the right will increase it. Once the column is the size you want, release the mouse button to set the new width.

Customize Column Visibility

Click on the column menu icon (three vertical dots) on the column you want to adjust the visibility of.

Find the column you wish to modify and locate the menu icon - this should look like three vertical dots. Click on this icon to open up the menu specific to the column.

Select "Collapse" from the dropdown menu to hide the column.

A dropdown menu should now be visible. Look for the option labeled "Collapse" and click on it. This will hide the entire column from your current view on the monday.com board.

If the you want to unhide the column, click “←>” on top of the column.

If you need to unhide the column later, navigate to the top of the column area where the hidden columns are listed as "←>". Click on this symbol to reveal and reinstate the collapsed column to your view.

Customize Group Color

Hover over the group title that you want to customize the color of.

Move your cursor over the group title whose color you want to change. The group title is the label at the top of each categorized list of tasks on your Monday.com board.

Click on the “three-dot” icon next to the group title.

On the right side of the group title, you will notice a small icon with three dots, also known as the "More Options" icon. Click on this icon to open a drop-down menu with more customization options.

A color palette will pop up. Click to select the color you want to assign to the group.

From the drop-down menu, a color palette will appear. This palette includes a variety of colors. Simply click on the color you wish to assign to your group. This color will be used to highlight the group title and make it visually distinct.

Click anywhere outside the color palette to close it. The color of your group title will now be changed.

After selecting the color, click anywhere outside the color palette. This will close the palette and apply the selected color to your group title. You should now see the group title in the new color, enhancing visual organization and group differentiation on your board.

Save Your Changes

Once you're done customizing your board, click anywhere outside the board to automatically save your changes.
